I don't mean to be rude - but did you read the thread? Its only 2 pages ....

Tail lights are factory tails, tinted by a professional shop.

Re: Recent Mods: Removed Chrome Door Molding, Grille Swap, Tow Hooks, LED Fogs & RRO

So you found an LED without resistors which doesn't throw a code/fast blink for the tail/blinker of the main tail lamps?

All the mods look great and love the tinted tails BTW! +rep for posting thanks

Re: Recent Mods: Removed Chrome Door Molding, Grille Swap, Tow Hooks, LED Fogs & RRO

J13ntv,
I apologize, perhaps I wasn't as clear as I thought I was. I did NOT find a suitable LED replacement bulb for the outer taillight/blinker. For that I used a Sylvania Silverstar.

Here is what I wrote:

The LEDs are H16, 5202, 6k, 68-LED, 1210 SMD with built-in circuit for 12v DC input. They are advertised for a Camaro's & Escalade's but they work just fine. Found them on eBay for $30 shipped.

Since I liked them so much I also bought LED DRL's, LED reverse lights and LED tail lamps - all from the same vendor. The rear turn signals are Sylvania Silverstar because I couldn't find an LED that would handle the blinker aspect.
I was only able to swap the bulbs located within the liftgate to LED. Hopefully that clears things up.

Actually, and you will hate to hear this, our daughter goes to bed around 10 (when we do) and sleeps soundly until 5:00/5:30 - which is when we get up anyway.

The outside lenses are easy. Pop out the push-pin retainers with a small flat head screwdriver and then gently pull. Not to far because the light cables are short. The tailgate lenses require removing the interior panel in the lift-gate. Just work your away around gently pulling the plastic pins (you may need to get a few replacement ones from AutoZone or similar). Then remove the small bolts holding the lenses. There are also two on the side of the lift-gate. Then, they pop out.

I didn't mess with the 3rd brake light as you'd have to remove the spoiler, and since you don't notice the red that much - at least with the black paint - I decided to leave it be. The bumper reflectors pop right out from the back-side.

If you don't have a garage you will want to tape off some plastic over the lift-gate lens holes in-case it rains as they lead right into the cargo space.

Good Luck, and post some pics when you are done.
Check it out, Thanks for your help with everything!

Re: Recent Mods: Removed Chrome Door Molding, Grille Swap, Tow Hooks, LED Fogs & RRO

J13ntv, any chance to compare new fogs lights vs. factory? My friend suggested to put hids there, but I prefer to leave them as fogs lights with a little blue color... I like your approach.

Nice job on the Lights, but you should consider making your own thread instead of posting in someone elses!

I think you meant to ask mhassler that question? My fogs are factory...
