Ha! Thanks man! I've looked around and can't seem to find a clean non-dvd holder version. I might just get these and use them to hold receipts or some such.

Not a fan really. I used to use those holders back in '98.

Im still gonna wait for the blank overlay stickers after May 1st.

there were like 4 or 5 different shades of black from that place. I ordered the sample sheet and it came in like two days. when I ordered the actual covers I think those are the may 1st distribution, so two more weeks on those. im going to try to pull the hell stickers with the heat or alcohol, then will use the covers from that place to cover if it doesn't look good

To each there own.. If your in queens ny mitsiwa auto does clean custom work.. He did my 94 integras headliner, pillars, visors and seats in black suede.. He specializes in interior im pretty sure he can match your interior to something close if not spot on.. Has anyone tried reaching out to the dealer for pieces of interior? Might be something to look into as well..

Let us know how it goes! I'd be interested in hearing about your experience doing this.

Re: Remove airbag stickers on visors?

If you have the alcantara visors, it's possible to get them off decently but you need a heat gun and a lot of patience...the temperature has to be just right or it leaves a lot of adhesive residue on the alcantara and the stuff is damn near insoluble in anything (tried alcohol, acetone, goof off and goo gone). Only goof off (little metal can) seemed to make a dent and it took a lot of soaking and scrubbing and I still didn't get it all, you can tell there were stickers there in certain light. Luckily since the interior of the car is usually fairly dark you can't tell unless you know what to look for, and it's FAR less obnoxious in the corner of your vision than the bright ass warning stickers.

Good luck.

Thanks for the info, is the alcantara the suede in the summit? Did you take the visors off to do it or did you leave them on?

Yeah suede = alcantara for this purpose (or ultrasuede, or whatever).

I tried to take them off but it's a major PITA to get them off in this vehicle so I ended up leaving them on. Would recommend taking them off if you can, I didn't want to pull the whole headliner down or whatever is required to actually get them off. Plus apparently if you screw it up you can set the car on fire.
