Removing Headlamp D3s Bulbs

Hello folks,

I bought 5k Philips D3s bulbs to replace the stock 4300k in my 2015 SRT. I got the caps on the headlamps off but I dont see how these are held in place. It moves left to right but I dont want to yank on the bulb and break the housing. lol

Could someone tell me how the bulbs release from the housing? Wish it was as simple as my 2010 SRT .

Thanks

Theres a ring around the bulb...twist it to release the bulb.

Re: Removing Headlamp D3s Bulbs

and the reason its twisting left and right is because you have an SRT that has the adaptive headlights. So you are actually moving the entire projector. It will recenter once the electronics turn back on.

Ring tab at the 10 and 4 o'clock positions, turn counterclockwise to unlock.

Re: Removing Headlamp D3s Bulbs

How did you go with the removal? I can't even get my hands in there to grab it and I don't have big hands.
Did you twist clockwise or anticlockwise?
