Ordered the FRAM CF11183 Fresh Breeze Cabin Air Filter on Amazon.com (on July 6th) and they are in stock and shipping. Will arrive on Monday.

Yes there is a small cord on the right side of the glovebox that lets it lower slowly, but as soon as mine detached to take the box off it retracted all the way into an unknown area. doesn't look easy to get back out to me. May have to have the dealer do on the next visit... Won't unhook it again next time !!

Use a coat hangar next time to keep it in play...they suck fo shizzle especially if u have huge hands....

You don't need to disconnect anything but the user's manual tray to replace the filter (at least on my '14 GC.)
