Replaced rear brow

I just replaced my rear brow from a chrome one to the color matching mineral gray one.

Pretty easy process.

here are some pics i took.

new grill and brow. i'll probably do the grille next weekend.

removed the lift gate panel. comes off easy.

removing the chrome one.

took the camera off the old one and placed it on the new one.

and done.

i still have not put the lift gate panel on because i'm waiting for my reverse led lights and don't want to have to pry it again.

Re: Replaced rear brow

It looks like it matches really well with the silver paint. I did the same with my black grand cherokee

That looks good!

Still trying to figure out why we didn't build the 2011-2013s with color-matching lightbars. (Yes, that is the factory term for that part.)

Nice. I'm guessing these parts are from the Trailhawk? How is the paint match?

Yup they are the Trailhawk parts. The paint match is pretty spot on, i cant really tell the difference. If there is a difference its only that the paint on the truck has been exposed to the elements and the new parts havent. I'm happy with it.

Where did you get them and how much are they, if I may ask?

Thanks!

Re: Replaced rear brow

was it complicated to remove the camera and install it on the new one? i just ordered mine off just for jeeps and gonna install it this weekend

I'm a fairly competent diy'er i changed the stock grill of my grand cherokee to the altitude one, hoping that this isn't too hard to do.
