Replacement Fender Flare Question

I scraped a right rear fender flare exiting my parking garage which is extremely tight. Needless to say a replacement fender flare on the door and fender is in order. Being a '14 overland and painted, I received 2 quotes both for the same price to replace.

My question to anyone who has replaced or changed their flares, do these fenders flares come painted or do I have to have them painted? One dealer said they come painted and the other said they do not come painted. I provided my vin # to look up the part.

FYI. Door is $46.25 & Fender is $62.10.

Re: Replacement Fender Flare Question

No they come unpainted and you had to have it color match.

It comes in a primer coat.

items like the mirror housing and sharkfin antennas come pre-painted.

Ok got it. Any idea of what a reasonable cost to paint the two pieces would be?

Depending on the shop how they charge for labor and materials could be

$200 on the low end

$350 on he higher side even though I think those prices are rape.

Depending on the color of your truck it may be a tri - coat versus a base coat/clear coat application.
