The outer taillight pushpins in my 2014 Summit and now my 2015 HA are actually difficult to remove and that's using two screw drivers.

Yep they did. Got mine last night from xenon with 15% off, so under $100 shipped (free shipping).

Sorry should have clarified. The push pins yes, needed 2 screw drivers. Used gentle but firm force, they came out.
In the link he said would need to pry out the housing with a screw driver after the pins are out. Mine came out with a lite tug

Oh ok I see. Yeah to that other guy, absolutely DO NOT pry the housing out. I have found from experience that you need to work them out extremely carefully. The outer red lens edges are VERY brittle and prone to chipping even after the slightest amount of pressure from something or even bump against the body of the car during removal. You have to be very careful not to let the red lens touch anything.
I found the best way to remove the housing once the pics are out is simply work your hand behind the plastic piece where the pins pushed through. Pull slightly in that area, then get a finger or two behind the red lens on the other side to protect that from touching anything (so it doesn't chip), and to add a little bit of rearward pressure.

Oh, and I also finally got my tracking info from xenondepot. Looks like my reverse LEDs are set to arrive on Saturday!!

Re: Reverse LED question with pictures.

I am about to put these in tonight. ImageUploadedByJeepGarage1455832595.756259.jpg

Still waiting for my interior leds to show up.

Also. If you picked a bulb replacement for the d3s what would you pick??

I want to be able to see still so I'm concerned about the Phillips 6000k bulbs. Was leaning towards either the 5000 or the D3S - OSRAM XENARC 66340 CBI HID BULBS

Thoughts ? Experience?

I'll see what I can do that doesn't require taking anything apart. I have actually been able to slide my phone in some tight spots to take pictures of labels befor so ill try

Also, stay tuned for a sweet mod I'm doing to my HA. Parts arrived and are waiting for me at home. Let's just say it has to do with LEDs and fog lights, but it's all OEM
As always I'll post detailed pictures when I'm done. Possibly tomorrow.

Re: Reverse LED question with pictures.

I received my new Putco lights yesterday and installed them when I got home from work. They're awesome! Perfect color match and great output. Very happy with the results.
