Re: Rigid Industries Dually Placement

I've replaced my cutted grille with the mesh grille, and mounted the lights behind just for the looks. The light output is less widespread as when you cut your grille. Just try it out, mount them without the grille, check the light output, then mount your grille and check again..

How did you mount the pods behind the grille?

Re: Rigid Industries Dually Placement

Did this on my WJ with driving D2's, but I cut the grille plastic and had the front of the lights sitting flush with the grille bars. Mine were also mounted on a piece of angle aluminum mounted so it was secured where the grille was bolted to the crash bar support bracket.

If you mount your lights behind the grille, there's no point in getting floods because the sideways light is blocked by the grille bars. Get 2 sets of spots and point one lower towards the ground.
