Looking at your pics it looks like you didn't remove the whole front air dam to install the prerunner plate. Is that correct? Did you cut it to keep the plastic pieces in front of the wheels? Your setup looks different that the one on the RRO website. If I'm not mistaken you have to remove the whole air dam to put the prerunner plate. I'm considering getting for my WK2.

Yes, I did not like the Unfinished look w/o the ends on this is my DD not a trail rig and im not going to pull off and on the Pre-runner skid when i hit some trails, I like the idea of poping off the ends in 30sec and going if you want or need a few other PICs let me know

Looks awesome the way you've left the siding on. I'm looking to install one a bit more permanently as well and I like this idea.

More photos would be awesome whenever you've got them.

You mentioned the skid and combo bar don't play well together on JeepForum. This is SilverbackWK. What did you have to do to make it work?

Re: Rocky Road Prerunner

Installed the front pre-runner on my Summit. It took ahem, considerable work to fit.

Not sure how well you nc see the skid but was a breeze to install, do need winch mount unless you can fab up something fairly easy. Got them half off to test fit the 2014 so can't complain on cost.

Re: Rocky Road Prerunner

OK, I bought the Rocky Road Prerunner skid plate, winch mount and Smittybuilt winch.

It was quite the task for me to install. My 2014 overland didn't match up too well with some of their instructions. I worked on it for a week at 4 or 5 hours per day.

But now it is done.

I discovered today that I have no cruise control. The ACC sensor was removed but that shouldn't stop the regular cruise control should it?
