I wish that weren't the case. I had hoped I could go to Offroad events with the pre runner skid on (no ACC) and still have the cruise control working.

I will have to practice switching from standard setup with the ACC and then switching to the pre runner skid so I can do that more easily.

Re: Rocky Road Prerunner

Is there a plan from RRO to update the Prerunner Skidplate?
It does have a little unfinished look to it and if one were to leave it on full time with the bumper combo you would invite rocks and road debris to mess up the radiator and cooler behind it.

I had driven my 2015 Overland without the lower front bumper for a week while I custom made a light bar bracket at work. I caught a few rocks and lucky did little damage.

It would look awesome with the RRO combo and Prerunner if it had more protection for the radiator and cooler in the front in that area.

I like the clean look of your mod. Could you share what you did to achieve that? How secure are those 2 plastic end pieces, any concern that they could pop off? Great idea using the spacers so you could keep the brush guard combo intact.
thanks

I know this is a fairly old thread but we have the Front sump Skid plate that just mounts over your existing plastic plate using your already supplied hardware. In various materials and thickness. All WK2 Models 2011-2016 HERE

You have some great products for the WK2s and the Pricing is Great the only thing that is holding me back is the access to the oil plug and filter... I change my oil every few months and cant see having to drop the Skid every time I have the 2012 and have 122000 mi on it so you have an idea how often I change the oil... but definitely going for the Hood Light mount did anyone have a few PICs of lights mounted on the bracket

Re: Rocky Road Prerunner

The transmission shield /Skid plate has a access hole to get to the drain plug. Someone requested it awhile back so it was incorporated.
