Rocky road super sliders wk2 thoughts?

Hey guys, I'm thinking of the rocky road super sliders, any pros and cons?
Also, anyone have any idea how to get a set down to Australia without the $800USD shipping cost? They seem reasonably priced, I'm wondering why they are so much cheaper than uneek or mopar sliders...

Pros:

- Cheap
- Looks to be a fairly easy install

Cons:

- They're no where near as close to protective as the Mopar or Uneek ones.

If your going to need these for protection just go with the Mopar or Uneek. Just compare them and your going to see the difference in what they protect and why they are cheaper.

I noticed a couple of inches either end of the sill are left "exposed".. I'm thinking my crawling adventures will not be extreme as this is my daily driver (need it to do my job) so I won't be thrashing it much... Is there something other than an inch or two either side of the wheel arches that I should be aware of?

It's not just those portions at the front and back that are exposed, but also basically along the entire side skirt pinch weld it's much less protected than it should be for rock sliders.

Check out these pics below comparing the design of the two and you can see for yourself how much is left unprotected.

Ahhhh, ok, got it, it puts the seam in a basket, that makes more sense... Now to save extra and find a decent fitter....

I've just installed the Uneek ones on mine. Looks like they'll give good door protection, however underneath they don't appear to come as low as the Mopar one. Will post some pics in a couple of days.
Was told by installers that the Uneek ones are tougher.
Would actually like to do a side by side comparison for the potential buyers.
