No doubt. I will post some pics this weekend (first the parts spread out then a few action shots) of the finished product. I am 220lbs so i will do some dancing on them as well to test the strength then try to give a solid write up as well.

Re: Running boards

A lot of these boards do not fit the 2014 Summit..has anyone found some for it that look great and fit without drilling?

Yeah, I believe they are from Mopar "Chrome Tubular Side Steps".

Here is the link to them: Side Steps, Tubular - 82212129AB | Mopar

Re: Running boards

can't wait to see pics of the install.

was talking to a rep online, we could do a group [buy] with minimum 5 ppl. Oh and according to them the DeeZee doesn't require drilling. They give custom brackets.

I'd be interested in this. Curious what the group cost savings would be?

Re: Running boards

they would use a $30 coupon plus 10% additional for 5 ppl. I need to get in touch with them to make sure it's not just on the DeeZee... in case anyone would want another style like Romik, or Ionic (similar to chunderboy setup)

Seems chunderboy got a great deal though with his ebay ones and local pick up

dont want to thread hijack and may create a feeler for group buy. looking forward to pics of install in this thread

I think I've settled on the Ionics, just waiting to see the install pics from chunderboy to confirm my decision. If I can get them for $230 by picking them up in Queens I'm gonna do that since I'm heading down to NYC in a few weeks. But if we can get them cheaper thru a group buy I'd be down for that.

PRESSSSURE. lol. I am going to do the shit out of them this weekend. Going to the rents to ride the FLSTF and do this so I have many o' hours to get this install. I did a dry run the weekend before (yea, during mothers day) and almost had my head chewed off bc of the time spent in the driveway. So, this Saturday seems more of an opportune time to make this happen.

When completed, its going to be a pic heavy thread so be forewarned..

Kirk,

Also, if you do decide to get them in NYC, let me know and I will give you a talk on. The directions are bad bc of the address and proximity to the BQE. So, navigation things the place is literally on the BQE. PM your phone and I talk walk you through it (depending on where you're going to be coming from). As for me, I left from Manhattan and have been there 2 times to pick up by bumper guards and the steps.

Re: Running boards

Also, this is the manufacturer of my front/rear guards and steps.. Have no idea why I never posted this before.
