Not bad for $299 to my front door!
They look great - I ordered the same ones and should be here tomorrow - any gotcha's to make the installation easier ? also , like the rubber under versus above the molding.

Totally agree. Also, I think I might plasti-dip spray the chrome to make it match more. I wonder how that would look. And if I was to do that, go for flat black or the shiny version.

Re: Running boards

I like the chrome accent. at least on my Laredo E. kind of ties it together, imo. I'll try and snap a profile pic tomorrow.

As for the installation, it was pretty straight forward. the most helpful bit of information from chunderboy's write-up was:

"I found that to get to the main bolt (that mounts to the frame) a real pain in the ass, so to save time (actually a decent amount) thread the bolt and washer through the bracket to the mounting bracket that does into the frame, then slide it into the frame for tightening..."

That saved it from being a big headache. very helpful.

Am i crazy or do you have limited wheels? It looks damn nice.

Also, that piece of info i parsed out to you saved my a$$ in terms of time. Glad it helped.

Finally got around to the install. Decided to keep the rubber on the outside, tried under but when I washed the car the water pooled up on top + allowed me to get them closer to the molding . I used 3m emblem adhesive in small areas to adhere the rubber to the molding. Overall, kids and wife are happy and I'm actually starting to find them useful myself. Thanks to Chunderboy for his advise on the brackets, saved lots of time while keeping my sanity in check.

Great shot Glock! And thanks for the tip about the 3M emblem adhesive to adhere rubber to molding. Here's a profile shot of my 14 Limited with the same running boards.
