Running boards

Do you think anyone will produce a running board like the ones on the X4 4.8? Love the look of those but not sure how they would look with the chrome accents on the wk2

Re: Running boards

I have an x5 4.8 and I'm getting an overland to replace it. Totally agree with you.

I feel like ripping my running boards off before I return it

Re: Running boards

Running boards are listed in the mopar accessory book. I haven't seen a WK2 with them installed yet, so im not sure how good they would look instaleld.

Re: Running boards

Those are tubular side steps.
Mopar has a moulded running board listed, just not sure what it looks like.
Not sure if they're like these?

Re: Running boards

I would definitely agree with you 'Father Paul'. Those molded RB's would look 100x better on a 2011 GC.

Re: Running boards

Until a molded running board is on the market...

Did someone of you purchase and install the Mopar rock boards? They could function as running board alternative and look much more streamlined than the tubular ones. Not shure how much they cost?

Here some pictures, one from the Original Mopar Accessories Catalog and one from the Sema Off Road.

Re: Running boards

Came across these...
Still not as nice as the ones you get on an X5.
