Spacing between holes would prob be the next thing to worry about but I know my JGC had several holes on each side, but you only need 3.

Not so much the undercarriage/mounting as it is the side skirts and fender flares. The clearances and shapings are different for the Summit - it's why we've all been desperately waiting for someone to come out with splash guards, none of them so far have fit the Summit. Husky has made some now, but no one has received or installed yet that I'm aware.

Be aware they have a different model # for the 2014 vs the 2011-13 years.

If anyone is close to ZIP 36067 and wants a set for $100 let me know. I have them on my 2015 and am thinking about something different. I have them a few weeks. PM ME

Can I ask why they're not fitting the bill?

Oh just a look thing, after I put them on I think I like them without the boards although they are functional.

No problem though with the fit or finish.

That's great, thanks very much for that I agree it looks pretty streamlined without, just hoping I can make it easier for my wife who is 5'2" (and let's be honest, myself at 5'6") getting in and out

Re: Running boards

These are 4" Ovals by Aries. They went on quite easy and I like them a lot. Rather inexpensive as well.

Re: Running boards

What do you guys think about these?

11 14 Grand Cherokee Black Stainless Steel Side Step Nerf Bar Running Boards | eBay

They are some ebay model.

I also found some steel craft ones from CarID.

SteelCraft® - Jeep Grand Cherokee 2015 3" Round Side Bars

There is not much difference in price. I am looking for some opinions.

Thank you for everyone's help.

Re: Running boards

Those don't look too bad, look shorter than the Mopar chrome tubes (which I have and looking for other options or rock sliders).

Re: Running boards

Thanks for all the pics! I'm new to the forum. Long time XJ owner, but just upgraded to the GC Altitude (White).

This vehicle is tall and I'm wanting to put boards or tube steps on for most of the same reasons as each of you.

I've gone back and forth. First wanted steps, then boards, and now I'm back to steps because they have a tougher look vs a more suburban look than boards.

I was considering the Ionic CXV board, but now I'm thinking one of these steps in black. Opinions? Anyone using these?

Go Rhino® - Jeep Grand Cherokee 2015 5" OE Xtreme Oval Cab Length Low Profile Side Steps with Brackets

Go Rhino® - Jeep Grand Cherokee 2015 4" OE Xtreme Oval Cab Length Side Steps with Brackets

Westin® - Jeep Grand Cherokee 2015 4" Platinum Oval Tube Step Bars

Stainless Steel Nerf Bars Jeep Grand Cherokee 2014-2015 (Not Trailhawk, SRT, or Orvis) - There is a Black version of this.
