Seat memory button position

It is it just me or do other people have a problem hitting the seat memory programing button with their knee? I use the easy exit feature and it seems like I hit the seat memory buttons at least once a week reseting the seat position. It is very bad ergonomics for my body type (5' 7").

Re: Seat memory button position

My knee comes close, but doesn't hit it. As a workaround maybe program both 1 and 2 to your settings. Less likely to accidentally change both. Of course, if you have another driver who also saves their settings, this won't work so good.

Re: Seat memory button position

Those buttons are in an strange location. Almost like it was an afterthought.

On the side of the seat next the tilt etc would be a perfect spot. Put it with all the other seat controls.

I am also vertically challenged but on my 2011, I never hit the button. Not sure where it is on the 2014, but on mine it is closer to my thigh than my knee.

Re: Seat memory button position

No, but I have opened the gas cap with my knee while entering/exiting.

Re: Seat memory button position

I am 5' 7" too and think that position is a terrible place to put the seat memory buttons. What were they thinking there?

It looks like a cheap afterthought. It's pretty much the same setup as the WK which should explain the problem.

Me too. I'm 6'2 so I need some extra room to get my legs out.
The mentioned issue seems to be common with the folks with shorter legs than mine. I agree it should have been mounted with the seat controls.
