Side moulding removed, letters added. Mineral Grey Overland. High quality pics!

Yet another picture thread of my latest mod. I was on the fence about this mod for a long time, but I finally decided to just go for it. I peeled off the chrome body side moulding and added the Grand Cherokee letters from the SRT. I am VERY happy with the results and I got the exact look I was looking for. Im not a huge fan of nothing down there as it just looked as if something was missing, but once I put the letters back in place it was perfect. Much cleaner look, but still has an OEM look.
I have yet to see pictures of this done on a Mineral Grey so hopefully you guys enjoy them and it possibly helps someone decide if they want to do it or not. Just to give you an idea, im a very picky person about what I do to my vehicles, and if you were on the fence like I was, I can assure you that you will love the look if you were to do it!! The new badges cost me $22.50 each side plus shipping. The old chrome side mouldings just peel off relatively easily. I took my time and ensured the new letters went on perfectly and were exactly where they are located on the SRT.

The only current mods on my Jeep are 20% matched tint on front windows, visual garage sharkfin antenna, chrome fog bezels, and now the side moulding removal and letters added.

Enjoy the pics!

James

that looks even better. I think I'll do the same. Too much chrome is making the car like shiz.

Like that SRT8 Style

Absolutely! If you kind of want to get an idea of how it would look just look at some pictures of silver SRT8's on eBay or something.

Looks Great! I like the clean appearance without the chrome strips on the sides, and the chrome fog light bezels.
