Please don't take this as negative...
If you live anywhere it snows, reconsider mounting side steps, especially if you are tall.
I'm 6'3" and about the only purpose they would serve for me is to get my pants leg dirty getting in and out.

With that said. Everyone has their own opinion to looks/functionality and it you like side steps, then definitely go with something that is quality versus the ones I see around the Twin Cities that the chrome rusts off (and through the metal) after a year or two.
