Silver interior trim too bright on sunny days - ?paint or plastdip

I have a 2013 Trailhawk and the interior trim is the silver color. On a sunny day, it can be so blinding that it is almost a hazard. It sure makes it hard to see the screen for the 430N. Also, the silver trim around the outside vents reflects really badly when using the side view mirrors.

Does this bug anyone else? Has anyone tried painting the trim, or maybe use plastidip to make it a satin black or dark grey?

I am a strong advocate of plastidip. I plastidiped the interior trim of my buddies BMW to test the look first before he made it permanent with paint. He ended up not liking the look so he was able to peal it off and return to factory without any evidence that it was ever any other color.

Bought some black Plastidip. If I can figure out how to pop off one of the vent trim pieces I might give it a try since it sounds peelable and reversible
