Slush Mats

Highly considering buying slush mats for my WK2. Does anybody have, can recommend, don't like?

Re: Slush Mats

Got the factory slush mats from the dealer when we bought the car. Also got the matching mat for the rear floor area. Both are great and do not detract from the luxury look of the car.

Re: Slush Mats

There are a few threads on this so do a quick search and stuff will come up. The Weather Techs seem to give the most coverage (except for the dead pedal spot) but are expensive ($140ish) and can get slick with water. Rugged Ridge makes a great set and aren't too expensive. The Mopar ones are good for the fronts and utilize the factory hooks to stay in place, however, the rear seat coverage is terrible. I have the Mopars and will likely swap the back seat mats for the Rugged Ridge ones.

Do some quick research, weigh out positives and negatives and go from there

You can see what I have by reading my signature below. I feel they are very good, especially the cargo mat. Be sure to read my step-by-step for the cargo mat in the DIY section!

Re: Slush Mats

All three sections got the factory ones for me. I have gotten several compliments on the cargo area mat.

Re: Slush Mats

Yeah, the cargo mat is really cool. Thick, heavy rubber, perfect fit, nice JEEP logo. Functional, luxurious & manages to add a touch of class while protecting the cargo area from anything you throw back there! Got mine shipped from Just for Jeeps.

I've had the weather tech mats in my 07, 09, and now in my 2012. In Wisconsin, they are great in keeping the carpet dry and free from the white stains that are left from the snow.

Re: Slush Mats

Live in New England and have the Greystone interior. I picked up the Jeep Slush Mats and they have been great.
