Space for Blank button?

In the attached pic on my instrument cluster, what goes in the blank button spot. I have an Overland Summit and thought I had every option. Just curious what would go there. Does any one know?

Thanks,

Paul

Turbo Boost, it only comes in the kitt package.
Every image I've seen and mine is blank as well.

Re: Space for Blank button?

It's the poverty-pack button. Your model is too high-end to have poverty mode

Re: Space for Blank button?

It's for the "mother in law" option ... aka "ejection seat".

It is left blank for a reason ... but it doesn't mean it won't work.

I've been wondering the same thing! I've recently picked up an 12' Overland and when shopping around I didn't see a single vehicle that used that button so it's got me curious as well.

Re: Space for Blank button?

Not sure, either. But since it's part of a full assembly, it's also hard to use for anything "user installed" without quite a bit of effort! So it might be a good place to put that sticker that makes it look like an ejection button for an unruly passenger....

Re: Space for Blank button?

2014 has that too, but one on each side.

After looking at your pic, I can't believe the earlier models had physical buttons for the heated/cooled seats and heated steering wheel, but 14+ doesn't.

Re: Space for Blank button?

I've been trying to find funny stickers to put on the blank buttons. I found one but it's from a European website. Let me know if anyone knows where I can get some.

Check out this thread;

Interior Button Blanks

I installed the smoke screen system, but I really wanted to go with the rockets..... but in the end it was too much $$, the local law enforcement officials wouldn't sign off on it, and the install turned out to be more than I wanted to undertake!

Thanks,

I also have an Overland Summit with that same blank button panel.

You may have though you have "every option" but you obviously don't have the center mounted OEM rear seat video monitor that would have been activated by a button in that blank space.
