I just pulled mine off a few weeks ago. The guards are very functional. However, it looks much cleaner w/o them. The Mopar splash guards are just too damn big and squared IMO.

he was talking about tire outside diameter not wheel diameter. an 18" and 20" wheel will have the same (or very close) outside tire diameter

Stop and "think" about it! Wheels do not raise ride height, tires can. A 2" larger wheel does not mean you will have a 2" larger dia "tire" which is what you would need to increase ride height 1".
