SPOD WK2 Install

The SPOD is installed on top the fusebox cover of a 2014 JGC Overland with a 5.7 HEMI. The hood strut is directly above the install location but it does clear by .25”. I am installing the SPOD SE system with touchscreen and the universal bracket. You must use the SE version if you want to install in this location due to the fact that this model is shorter by .50”. This model uses MOSFET circuitry and has no fuses per switch channel.

Since the battery is located under the passenger seat, I used the Jump terminals under the hood for power. The end if the terminals just screw off of a stud where you can attach your electrical leads. I will run the single cable through the firewall from the SPOD source to the monitor tomorrow, and update this post with pictures.

Install finished, monitor powered. Power was ran from source to monitor through firewall behind glovebox.

Very nice install. So what are your future plans as far as accessories?

Are you really leaving that big controller screen directly in your line of sight?

No, I moved it down in the corner where it doesn't obstruct my view.

In the near future, lights. Will put forward and rear LED bars on the rack system.
