Sorry. can't find this anywhere...

1. How much are they..

2. how much of a pain in the arse is it to align properly and remove old chrome strips?

Re: SRT Letter questions...

Price is around mid twenties plus shipping. Price varies slightly between places but not by much. So they are pretty cheap!

Here is a thread I started with pics:
Side moulding removed, letters added. Mineral Grey Overland. High quality pics!

The letters come on a sheet so they are all together and spaced properly all you have to do is make sure they are exactly where you want them when you put them on there. The adhesive is very strong so you can peel them off and try again. once is all you get.
Below is a picture I took using measurements I got from a new SRT8 at the dealership. Some people like to put them in random places, but I personally like them in the OEM spot.
Removing the chrome side moulding is pretty simple. I used a old credit card to get behind an edge, then just yanked it off. You will ruin them, but IMO you wont want to re-apply them anyway, and even if you did you would have to apply new double sides tape and remove the old stuff, and for all that work you can just buy new ones for cheap anyway. So just pull them off and dont worry about not damaging them.
