Hi everyone I just bought a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit black metallic pearl, not too long ago and just put the 2014 SRT8 20'x10 wheels with color match on it and am only looking to replace the front bumper assembly. I just don't really like how the front bumper looks on the summits, and fell in love with the SRT8 bumper. Only reason I didn't buy an SRT8 is the gas mileage so 5.7 is good enough for me.
Anywho, can anyone tell me since the Summit fender trim is the same as the SRT8, how easy or hard it will be to just go to JustForJeeps.com and purchase the front bumper assembly they offer for the $1,200 price tag? Anyone know how this will be possible, as in which pieces will fit and which won't? I was told by manufacturer parts department and a Rep from justforjeeps that they are relatively the same, however if daytime running lamps and fog lights won't fit or be the same, then I'm looking on spending a total of $2500 to get this done UNPAINTED.
Please anyone help me figure this out, if anyone has done this before?

I think the day runners on the SRT are a strip in different location you may need different harness to get that to work. Was mileage the only reason you didnt just get the srt? Is only 1 mpg different between the 4x4 5.7 and SRT. Im sure it will look good when you get it done. Good luck
Well I know they are a strip but the housing is my concern. If the housing is different I'll have to pay $347.40x2 just to get them
Also I didn't get the srt8 because the mpg is 3-4 different compared on government gas websites. Also I bought another daily driver, 2013 mustang GT. Didn't want to spend extra 9-10k for .7L more. I like the looks of how mean it looks. Which is why I need help figuring this front bumper out.
You may very well need to buy a whole lot more than just the SRT bumper...the whole front and rear fascia for the MY14+ Summit is different than the regular JGC trim levels as well as different from the SRT fascias...before you order anything, be very careful to check that out thoroughly.
I called the JustForJeeps website and spoke with one of their reps and I called the manufacturer parts department and they told me I'm lucky because the summit has the exact body trim around wheel wells and grill piece is the same. I know I will need the the whole sha-bang. I'm just looking to see if ANYONE has done this or knows if it will fit my summit.
Sure thing! However I travel for physical therapy and am on a 13 week assignment. I'm in FL right now and live in Iowa, I have 3 weeks and 5 days left, I surely will upload pictures!
The bumper will bolt up...youll also have to buy the srt belly pan for the brake ducts. The problem will be wiring the bumper leds to work. any good electrician can do that though. This will be a very expensive mod if buying all new parts.
Well I figured if I bought from JustForJeeps website it's $1,202 unpainted, But I have been painting for 5 years when I was 18 and can do that. I thought 1202$ was reasonable for a bumper I really want. So my main problem then would just be the wiring and the belly pan? Thanks so much scott, I'm very much appreciative!
Well It can apply to overland, however the wheel well trim won't line up because on the overland, it does have that. You will need to purchase those and getting them painted you are looking roughly expensive maybe 2$2,000+ i'd bet. Unless you found on ebay already ready painted.
I’m curious if you ever got this done, also...I’ve often contemplated what an SRT bumper on a summit would look like. Love the LED strip in the bumper.
Curious I have installed everything but Jeep body shop says the wiring harness doesn’t work on the Running lights and fog. They ordered the SRT wiring harness but not sure it will work. Any ideas?
Have a look at www.sarona.com they have a bumper conversion using aftermarket parts that fit with the overland and below jeeps that dont have the same fender trim as the srt.
