Re: SRT8 front lower spoiler etc

From studying the pictures for you to install the SRT-8 front end on your Limited, you will have to buy the entire kit.

Here is why:
  • The front bumper cover is one peice ( not two like the limited)
  • The wheel arch flares integrate into the front bumper cover
  • If you have to add the wheel arch flares to the front you will have to buy the ones for the back
  • If you have to install new wheel Arch flares to all the wheel openings then you will have to add the match rear bumper covers
  • The matching side skirts also have to go with the integrated flares.
that is just the body cladding then there is all the other miscelaneous trim
that goes with the body cladding.

Since the SRT-8 if really new I would hold off from even trying to source these part as I am sure they are prohibitively expense right now and due to the limited availability they may always be very expensive.

if you can find someone that does plastic grafting or fiberglass work then maybe you can get just the front end look that you want, by just buying the front bumper and have them grafting on the lower section.

I am wondering the same thing. I would expect that this will be a popular request. Perhaps an aftermarket company will release a replica bumper that mates up easily and accepts the factory LED running/fog lights that make the SRT8 front bumper so cool (imho).

Re: SRT8 front lower spoiler etc

ive made myself a parts list with part numbers (33 parts in all... front, sides, and rear) and got prices for all of them. im getting a discount on all the parts and on monday there a good chance that i will be ordering at least the front bumper to check and see if it possible to do this conversion with out to many mods. im also still checking to see whats needed to be able to have the fog lights/led dtr lights, not sure if its plug and play (highly doubtful).

Re: SRT8 front lower spoiler etc

did some more research and looked at the pics of the srt8 bumpers on ebay and im not sure if this will be easy to do. im not sure whats going to supports the left and right bottom corners (3 holes each side)of the bumper. also the 4 holes on the edge of the bumper at the fender wells will not be supported with anything since the thin black trim will not be there any more. wondering if theres more supports/brackets behind the bumper on the srt8 model then the non srt8.
