Re: Stainless Steel Brake & Gas Pedals

I pick up mine tonight and will install tomorrow. Wish me luck.

Oh and the guy from dealership was trying to get me to pay $75 to install and wait an hour

Don't laugh . . . there are a bunch of guys on here who took way longer than an hour to install just the brake pedal! Be patient, work slowly, and enjoy the rewards! Oh . . . and good luck! Hahahahahahahaah!

Yes i read the entire thread... very painful for some.

I am from down under so fingers crossed there is no added complexities... I did notice the picture of my pedals look different to those of you that have installed and posted pics from America... hopefully its just the online image and not reflective of the end product

BTW, the trick to get the brake pedal pad on is to heat it up with a hot air gun and work glove to protect your hand from the heat. Boiling water isn't hot enough. I wish I knew this trick BEFORE I put my set on!
Good to know as I have been looking at these as well...put a similar set on my Mustang.
Soaked in hot water before install did work reasonably well
