What code did you use to get 5% off? I think it looks good and like these guys have said find a way to fill the gap.

I had the same issue on my truck, wrap a towel around it and you can crank it down with pliers so it is flush.

forgot the code, email them as they're very good in replying - that's what I did.

they said their screw might be off, so will send me a new one and an o-ring as a back-up.

better side profile of stubbie and gap.

no issues so far with FM and SAT. since the antenna is on the roof i think the reception would be better than others on the fenders?

Re: Stubbie Antenna replacement

Does the stubby still stick over the cross bars? if so how much? I have a SUP that i want to haul on the roof but the antenna gets in the way and this would be a cheaper alternative then the sharkfin if it sits flush with the rack.

Re: Stubbie Antenna replacement

Hey has anyone use that stubby with a thule box yet? Right now my stock one is just flexed down but I can't see that being good for the long term. Id rather spend 30 bucks then 80 on the shark fin. Also anyone know of any warranty issues for replacing the antenna?
