Sunshade question

I am looking for a nice sun shade for my Overland. I am curious...should I get the Mopar sunshade with the Jeep logo or I have been looking at the covercraft sunshades that you can get in a range of colors and are about 20.00 cheaper? Any suggestions. I have bought two cheap ones so far and they wont fit or fall down with the sunvisors down. Any suggestions appreciated

Re: Sunshade question

justforjeeps.com has the Mopar one with the logo for $64 if I recall. I have had mine for two years and has yet to fade, peel, crack, distort or anything in the south Florida sun. Just remember to use promo code jeepgarage5 to get 5% off as well.

That's the one I have. It's the same one I used in my 05 Grand Cherokee. It fit the 05 better though, almost too well though, it works well in the '12 Grand Cherokee. It's a little short from top to bottom but the sun visors make up for that. In my '05 it fit like a glove.

Re: Sunshade question

covercraft MAKES the Jeep folding one. they will only sell you a blank one direct.

but IMO they are the best. fit perferct and last a long time.

Re: Sunshade question

I bought a MOPAR sunshade form just for Jeeps. Mine does not fit well. I can't open it up al the way (it is too long) and it is a little short as well. I think they sent me one for a WK and not a WK2.
Does MOPAR sell a WK2 specific sunshade that fits properly?

If you bought it from J4J then you should've read that it's the same sunshade used from '05-'12 nor is it "custom fit to the '11-'12 Grand Cherokee.

COMPATIBILITY
Year Model
2005-2012 Grand Cherokee
Sunshade for the Jeep Grand Cherokee helps provide superior protection against the sun's UV rays. Installs in seconds for maximum protection.

Foldable, blocks UV sun rays and heat, with blue Jeep logo.

This accessory is not custom fit to the 2011-2012 Grand Cherokee. Will fit 2011-2012 Grand Cherokee with the visors down.

Item # 82209061
