Yeah,I guess you don't notice the crazy color if the body is darker.

I have found that the trivalent chrome parts tend to look more bronzish on dark colors. It appears to look the "blackest" on white because of the contrast. Also, believe it or not the appearance of them also changes depending on the sky conditions lol. I'm not joking! They tend to look the most bronze on rainy days.

Maybe I don't even know how good the HA looks as I never see any driving around. But I see brilliant black Overlands and Altitudes and I think they look so good, I want that look.

Are you sure you don't want to come to Buffalo?

I want the painted wheel arches and lower facias from an Overland or Altitude, not the textured plastic on the Limited though anyway. My parents have a brilliant black 2014 Limited. Maybe they won't notice if I swap parts? 😃. Then it won't cost as much to get painted parts.

Hope you find someone willing to swap.

PM me if interested.

For what it's worth, I had my trivalent chrome and window trim chrome wrapped.

I wanted to wrap my trivalent at first but now I think it adds something you don't see on very many vehicles. I will be wrapping the chrome window trim probably because it does clash IMO. The problem I have is wrapping a $55K vehicle with a lot of vinyl seems ghetto to me.

Maybe, but if that's what it takes to get the look you want, do it. It's what you want and like... not what others think and like. I like the look enough myself to be seriously considering wrapping the chrome... if I can find someplace around here capable of doing it.

I can see wrapping window trim, but both front and rear bumpers seems cheap.
