Sorry, I was referring to the chrome window trim. I like the trivalent chrome elsewhere and would never wrap that.

Didn't say it couldn't look good, but not sure I would like it.

I'm still interested in doing this if anyone wants to make the trade let me know.

Re: Swap Overland/Altitude bumpers/fasicas/fender flares/rocker moldings w High Altit

I have a WK2 Overland High Altitude Blacked Out edition. Just wondering if anyone actually found ways to black out the chrome trim other than wrapping it? Any OEM or aftermarket black trim you can buy? I am not opposed to wrapping it either but I would be worried about the bumper trims...see them getting torn. I am 'patiently' converting my wk2 into a more capable off road vehicle since the Overland (in Canada anyway) has absolutely nothing stock for off road.

Also realize there are other threads but has anyone successfully installed aftermarket fender flares on a High Altitude or Summit edition?? And before anyone asks why I am doing this to a $70k vehicle its because of the diesel...lowest model I can buy for the diesel option.

thanks in advance for the feedback!

I have some OEM trim black trim for sale and listed the other part numbers you need to buy to make the swap in my for sale thread.

Just for jeeps has most of the kit on the SRT page.

I'm still interested in getting brilliant black Altitude (or Overland) bumpers/fascias - swap for my High Altitude parts.

I'm in Omaha.

3 pics of my Jeep below.

And 1 pic of what I want it to look like (except I'm keeping the gloss black front grille mesh and wheels).

What would you do with the exhaust? The Altitude has round tips.

Those would be swapped too. I'd get the Altitude rear bumper and lower fascia and round tips, and the other person gets the High Altitude rear parts and oval tips. I think those tips have clamps that just unclamp. Not 100% sure though, but I'm sure there's a way.

Man, wish you were here in Houston, had a billet silver and I would have traded in a heart beat. I really like the exterior look of the HA. Oh well.
