Question Swingaway Rear Bumper for WK2

They have been very popular in the offroading community by allowing you to put equipment (Spare tire, gasoline, water, etc...) on the rear of your vehicle and usually has a beefy rear bumper to hold it all.

Any idea what the market of one to the WK2 community would be?

There may be one somewhere but the problem is that any of these kinds of accessories are just not made for the wk2... Which I think is BS! It's been 2 3/4 years since the wk2 was released... I think it's about time... I'm keeping my eye open for an aftermarket more "beefy" spoiler and led tail-lamps,,, but that will be a while..:-/ hope you find what your looking for!!:-)

Re: Swingaway Rear Bumper for WK2

No bumpers, but I think i've seen someone on this forum running one of these.

Re: Swingaway Rear Bumper for WK2

I've come across those before online. Guess this is the only option. Though I don't like the idea of a universal setup like this. I would like to see a setup designed for the Wk2. Though, I guess the market for the Wk2 is just not that great. I am surprised by the lack of aftermarket parts for the WK.

Re: Swingaway Rear Bumper for WK2

I remember a forum member had a similar but much better setup like this he had custom made at a shop. It looked really good but don't remember who it is.
