tail light swap

Hello, new here and have been doing some searching but haven't come across anything relevant.

My question is, has anyone swapped tail lights from a '14 & up WK2 onto a '11-'13 WK2? From the looks of it it seems they would fit. I doubt they would be plug & play, but as long as they fit it can be done.

Anyone have info on this? Forgive me if this idea exists in another thread. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Re: tail light swap

I don't know, they look like different shapes to me. The corner tails may be the same, but the liftgate ones are definitely different.

Re: tail light swap

Might now work due to the gate dimension differences and the different electrical system between the different model years. Also, why would you give up the led tails from the 14+ models?

Ah yes I see the difference now!! I should've noticed this being that I work at a CDJR dealership... looks like I can't upgrade to the new ones

I just picked up a 2011 Laredo with about 40k on it and was looking to make a few tasteful upgrades. Either way its still a win for me, I was driving a Dodge Dart before!!
