Tail light with DRL?

Hey guys

I've been reading a lot about drls. I really see they're not for everyone

I didnt see any discussing regarding this, so.. Here i go. I like the drls always on. Before having my Jeep, i used to run position lights always on in my previous cars. DRL is better becaus i do t get dimmed instruments and dont need to turn it on or off, always on Auto.

What i miss is to have the tail lights on too. I am always at road, and those are not the greatest in my region, so I find it important to be seen, for safety.

Is it possible to have tail on with drl, and keep all the auto and other stuff working as usual?

Thanks
Carlos

Re: Tail light with DRL?

The challenge will be controlling things. Most likely, the "easiest" install would be to put "rear fogs" in the lower mounting position (reflectors on stock, but replaceable with lamps)...but coming up with a way to have them turn on at the same time as the front DRLs may be tricky. Also, the front DRLs go dark on the side that a turn signal is on and you may not want that same behavior in the rear.
