I installed mine since I replaced the brake/ turn lights with LEDs.
If your leaving your main brake/ turn lights halogen, I'd say no.
The only issue I can see is canbus seeing more resistance than normal.

Bought Phillips LEDS off Amazon for a lot less than elsewhere.

Now if Jeep_Addicted would just reply about the harness, I'd be set.

How's the quality of the rear fogs you bought? I'm back and forth between OEM rear fogs and the one you got.

Either way I'm building my own harness off the factory tow harness. Should be really easy once I get all the parts together.

I didn't install any resistors at all on my 2015 and have LED's in both the regular tail lights and the lower bumper lights. No hyperflash at all for me and they have been installed for about 6 months already.

The housings are "oem grade" plastic. Haven't fallen apart yet.
It was a cheaper to buy the pieces than the oem kit.

Re: Taillight solutions-just ordered mine.

Placed an order for the TailLight solutions LED foglight kit and ordered taillight LED's from Vleds. I have a 2015 so I will give it a try without the resistors.
I will post pics when it's done.

Checkout seller sabersport on eBay let me know what you think about those tail lights without all the fuss that are more plug and play.

Pics with the foglights installed. Used the Vleds bulbs for brake/turn signals and reverse lights. No hyperflash inside or out in my 2015.

How long was the install and where did you purchase yours? Looks great by the way. 👍 Any videos of the lights operation?

Re: Taillight solutions-just ordered mine.

Hey Guys, I'm thinking about doing the rear fogs, I tried to read though this whole thread but its a long one so i'm sorry if this has already been asked.

I love the ones from Taillight solution, seems like such an easy install, heard only about 20 to 30 mins of install but a little price for my budget right now.

But the Mopar rear fog light kits i have seen i would be able to pick up for 130 bucks but seems like you have to take apart a 1/4 of the jeep to do it and install time is hours.

Has anyone done the Mopar kits before? if so, are you happy with it or wish you went with the Tailight Solutions kit?
