You do not have to remove the tailgate panel..just the taillights. Easy as iceing a cake.

Re: Taillight solutions-just ordered mine.

Just wondering, has anyone put LED bulbs in the rear stop lights (3057) yet on the 2014's yet?

If so, any video of them in action?

Well I'm confused then. I thought I read that you had to remove the rear inside panel on the lift gate to get to the taillight housings to remove them. If not, I just may be all over this very soon!

Excellent upgrade I'm looking forward to some pics. Are these lights the same brightness as the taillights at night?

Yes (we) have placed LED bulbs pretty much everywhere and LED can be placed.

2014 Rear Stop/Turn LED Bulbs

I puchased the halogen version of the taillights solution and installed the LED bulbs, keep in mind you will need to have the resistor which I already did for the brake lights.

RED PLATINUM 21 LED BLINKER BRAKE LIGHT BULBS 3157 3156 4157 3157CK | 1 PAIR - Red LED - 3157 - 3157CK - 3156 LED - Tail Brake Turn Signal - Bulb Type

LED LOAD EQUALIZER RESISTORS PARKING LIGHT BULB OUT WARNING FIX | 1 PAIR - Parking Light Resistors - Resistors

Re: Taillight solutions-just ordered mine.

Does anyone have pics/video on how they look with the rear halo LED lights (the standard running lights for the Summit). Do they match the "glow" effect?

Did you need one resistor or 2 for the rear tail light brake and turn signal bulbs?

I've been wanting to convert the rear to led lights but the info I've found is spotty and not cohesive. Plus I'm not the best at electrical. If anyone wants to help around the MD area, I'll buy beer

two, one per side.

Check out Dark Sahdow GC's instructions and the rest of the thread, once those resistors were in place the taillightsolutions halogen kit took an LED bulb no problem.
