Thanks for advice.

Re: Taillight solutions-just ordered mine.

i noticed that there are couple options for the kit. i will get my 2014 overland soon and i just want to have the rear bumper reflectors (or fog lights? i m not sure if overland has fog lights or just reflectors) to fully function as taillights. which kit should i choose? LED preferred. Complete LED upgrade with or without the rear fog conversion kit? thanks

Re: Taillight solutions-just ordered mine.

All you want is the rear fog lamp led kit. Halogen matches the tails on an 11-13 and the LED for 14+. The complete kit has LEDs for other lights on back end.

Re: Taillight solutions-just ordered mine.

I didn't see any instructions for the LED upgrade to the brake lights. So I suppose the bulb must be plug and play, but how about where the resistor should be placed and which wire to tap?
Thanks

There is nothing to tap, it's a true plug and play as the resistor is built into the harness. All yo have to do is stick it to the truck with the provided double sided tape.

Re: Taillight solutions-just ordered mine.

If anyone can, please provide the LED bulbs brand and model provided with the kit.

Re: Taillight solutions-just ordered mine.

It seems there is some confusion concerning the Taillight Solutions kit. Based on my research, this is what I believe to be the correct information:

The rear running lights on a 2014 Grand Cherokee are LEDs. The rear brake and turn signal lights on a 2014 Grand Cherokee are halogen bulbs. It would appear that the rear fog light housings provided by Taillight Solutions, which replace the stock reflectors, are designed for halogen bulbs. Without modifications to the existing standard tail light brake and turn signal halogen bulbs, and with the rear fog light housings with their standard halogen bulbs installed in place of the standard reflectors, all brake and turn signal lights would be halogen bulbs on a 2014 Grand Cherokee.

Separately, Taillight Solutions offers LED bulbs which replace either the tail light halogen bulbs or rear fog light housing halogen bulbs.

Re: Taillight solutions-just ordered mine.

There are no replacement lens for this modification, all you do is stick a bulb with double aided tape next to the cut ours at the bottom of your bumper?
