The fog light kit comes with two new red plastic reflectors attached to a plastic housing that has the bulb inside. There is a wire harness that connects in-line to the brake/signal light housing wire thus mimicking the brake/signal light. You toss the plastic reflectors that are on now.

Re: Taillight solutions-just ordered mine.

If you are just doing the lower fog light kit (from taillight solutions, the more expensive mopar kit requires more work) it is completely plug and play.

Really it's laughably easy.

Cool, the purchase order is forthcoming. Which kit do they have that the bulbs will mimic the 2014s tail lenses??

What did you have to take off in order to make this kit fit and work? Thanks

Re: Taillight solutions-just ordered mine.

#1. I pulled the 2 pins outs for both tail lights & pulled the tail lights straight off.
#2. I unplugged the pigtail from the tail light the spun out the reverse light.
#3. I then plugged in the harness that came with the kit and routed it into the hole.
#4. I then layed on my back and popped out the reflector and then pushed the pigtail through the reflector hole.
#5. Wire tied the wire harness to a wire harness on the driver side.
#6. Plugged in te pigtail to the rear fog light and then pushed it into the hole.
#7. Done!
All of is happens fluidly and takes about 5 minutes per side. The part that took longest was pulling the tail light housings off bc the prongs are snapped into the tabs snug. Also they push back in easy, but make sure you snap them completely flush.
*Note* On the passenger side harness, I tucked it into the side of the bumper cavity.

Re: Taillight solutions-just ordered mine.

This looks awesome... I'm tempted to purchase. Although it doesn't look as easy as everyone says. I have trouble changing the headlight in my wife's car.
I wish there was a YouTube video showing the install.

I have a 14 Overland. All I would need is the LED kit?

Re: Taillight solutions-just ordered mine.

Headlights are always a PITA. Seriously though, I could've instructed my 6yr old through it and have it done in 20 minutes.
Yes, for the 14 you need an LED kit to match.
