Re: Taking off dealer sticker?

I asked the dealer not to apply the badges in advance. They gladly complied.

Re: Taking off dealer sticker?

I actually like mine. Their logo looks like a compass.

Use Meguiars bug & tag remover, works outstanding.

Re: Taking off dealer sticker?

Like everyone else said they should be vinyl stickers and once you get an edge going they just come off, time consuming but pretty easy. Now it could be worse, on my wifes new Jetta the dealer applied both their logo and this hideous pin striping in mustard yellow on a black car with paint. It took about 5 hours of credit card scraping to remove everything.

Re: Taking off dealer sticker?

I told my sales guy to remove the dealer sticker from the Jeep before I took delivery. He called the guy who put the sticker and got it removed. I made it a point to remember about this before going to the dealer to take delivery of the vehicle. I am glad I remembered.

Re: Taking off dealer sticker?

"Back in the day" they drilled two holes in your deck lid and stuck their chromed pot-metal badge on the back of your car.

Re: Taking off dealer sticker?

Had the Dealer remove the pinstripes a week after I took it home.

That would have bugged me through the life of the truck.

Dealer logo is next me thinks.

Pinstripes??? That stuff went out of style years ago in the early 2000's.
