Question taking out chrome handle covers

I am thinking of placing Mopar ABS chrome covers on handles and mirrors and a wooden dash trim on a GC lerado X 2011.
If it looks dissapointing after placement, I am wondering whether this is a reversible action without any resudues left after pulling apart.
Anyone has any experience?

Re: taking out chrome handle covers

Just get some sticker/glue remover from a local auto parts store to take care of any remaining residue.

Re: taking out chrome handle covers

Aren't those materials containing solvents which may remove or damage the original paint ?
