Re: That chrome...

The hood Jeep emblem will be a definite swap, but the doors... I'm on the fence. Going to rig them up soon and see how it looks.

the only reason i might not do it is just because it will be the same color and not very noticable. plus i dont like when i have to clean in between letters... ocd sucks lol

i'm more on the fence about the hood "jeep"

i swapped my rear "brow" to the color matching one and the "jeep" is also colored and up close it looks good, but from a distance it just all blends...

so i may just keep it naked.

might drop a red hemi badge on the front lower grille.

Re: That chrome...

I put the badges on and even though its the same color, I think it adds a nice subtle touch on both the hood and the doors. Pictures dont do it justice, but in person I like it a lot.

Did you ever think of doing black instead of color matching? I dont know if you have other black pieces on your car, but it's just a thought.

I have thought about doing them in black. Well at least the door ones. It would either be the chrome or black because I like the look of the new letters that are more square than round. The gray ones are the rounder kind.

The hood one, I think I may just delete it.

The only black pieces I have are the grille inserts, wheel trim and bumper trim. I think either will look good. I'll have to see.

Re: That chrome...

Where and how would you attach the hemi badge to the grill?

on the front bumper grille.

Amazon and ebay sell a hemi badge that is made to be installed on grilles. they have black and red ones.

They wont fit the actual grill in front because the emblem is like 5 inches wide and the grill openings are about 3"

So my next thought was on the bumper grille.
