"The Best of What We're Made of..."
Well last week (and not long after the 3/36 warranty expired of course) the dash of my wifes GC Overland has begun to shrivel, separate from its backing and its looking like a cheap old car from the 70s.
So I went to the dealer and of course out of warranty I would have to pay for it. A whopping $2600.00. I did not take that "deal". I am in a sour mood about this (it's an Overland isn't that supposed to be top notch? Jeep certainly ask a premium price for it).
My run of the mill 2005 Honda Odyssey has a black dash, never been in the garage, been in South Florida its whole career... and guess what... its dash still looks brand new!
I am going to go to an upholstery shop (or two) and see if they can do some repair work.
Any one have a similar experience or an idea? Thanks
