Here is a link for the Kuat Sherpa

Thanks for this tip! I just assembled the Sherpa, and really like it. I've been racking bikes on the back of my vehicles for almost forty years, and they've come a loooong way. This Kuat rack is a fine piece of work. Now if my new JGC would get delivered I can plug it in, load it up, and head for the trails!

Re: Thule (or other manufacturer) hitch rack questions

I'll be using my Yakama bike rack on my 2014 GC that I used on my old Xterra...loved it. The Yakama is the quietest bike rack I've ever owned, and it takes only a minute with a 19mm socket/ratchet to take off.

Re: Thule (or other manufacturer) hitch rack questions

My Thule usually stays attached for most of the summer. The rack easily swings down for easy access to the liftgate, even when the bikes are on the rack.

Part of my motivation to get out and ride is having the ability to just pop-on the bike on a moments notice. If I need to also attach the rack, I'm more likely to find an excuse not to go out.

Here's a picture of the Kuat Sherpa. The tray style makes it extremely quick and easy to load, and it tips for access to rear.
