Re: Trading Mirror Covers

Just used white plasti dip for my chrome mirrors, no issue at all achieving coverage after 3-4 coats, I'll do 5 coats and 2 coats with glossifier.

Re: Trading Mirror Covers

Good white colour match, i used glossifier.
After ~2 months I've noticed a slight yellow tint, not sure if I would dip again, probably better getting it properly painted / clearcoat.
Also you have to be patient when cleaning the covers, the dip is sticky in a way, the chrome surface is naturally very had so it can be cleaned real fast...

Re: Trading Mirror Covers

OK, here we go, after ~ 2 months the nice bright white Plasti Dip turned a bit yellow, not really yellow but enough of a tint to notice.
Took the rubber coating off and would not recommend using white Dip, much better getting the covers properly painted. I won't do that, OK with the chrome accent.
