When I bought mine they had just taken delivery of it and I told them if they put a front license plate bracket on it I WOULD NOT buy it.

I had to sign a disclosure form, but here in CA if you get a ticket for no front plate its just a $35 fix it ticket.

Ours did not come with the bracket. In NC we do not have front license plates, so there will not be a bracket on ours. The cleaner the better in my opinion.

Because front license plate brackets and plates are an eye sore. I never have, and never will pout a front plate on any vehicle I own. And I live in a state that requires one ;-) Never once been hassled out here in the Chicago suburbs.

Pics look great everyone!

I keep thinking about removing more chrome to my brilliant black WK2 too. The handles are holding me back, and the cost. You have the best interior possible with that black/black Overland interior. So jealous.

Re: True Beauty of Mineral Grey

Thank you man. Gonna be turnin' the clock to double digits (the big 10k) miles soon ha ha. Not bad for a year and a half old. Letting my wife drive it 80 miles/week to and from work. I figure we should keep it nice, and once it's paid off, we'll be driving a gorgeous "FREE CAR" which won't even cost us anything to repair since we bought the Lifetime Maxcare Warranty. There's a method in my madness!!

My '11 is paid for, but I don't consider it a "free car".
