Upgraded 2014 Limited grill to Summit

I recently took delivery of 2014 Limited 4x4 Eco diesel with lux. pkg and 20"wheels. I did not care for the slatted grill, you can clearly see the 2 horns and radiator through it. To my surprise I found that the honeycomb chrome Summit inserts are only $20 odd . Although they are a bit of work to fit the result is well worth it.

I prefer the Overland ones, but they look so much better than the Limited. Plus they match the bottom grille pattern.

I wonder why summit inserts are less expensive then overland

Because the Overland grill inserts look the best.

Too much chrome on the front end of the Summit for my taste.

Do you have to removed the entire front end to replace these grill inserts from Overland to Summit grill?

I changed my Limited grill inserts to black honeycomb ones and the entire front bumper cover had to come off for installation. Got the inserts and the tow hooks from justforjeeps

Re: Upgraded 2014 Limited grill to Summit

Got my chrome honeycomb grill inserts installed today on my 2014 GC Limited using the top down method. Took me about an hour.
