Does anybody know the part number of the painted '3.6L VVT' engine cover? Mine does not have the VVT nor is it painted. I have attached photos of both. I think mopar started painting the letters and added the 'VVT' on the 2012's. Any help/info would be greatly appreciated, such as year and painted/non-painted letters.

Actually, I feel quite a bit more torque with the dual exhaust and ported throttle body. I have the afe cai in the box waiting for this weekend to install.

Fyi...its frp, which is 'flyin ryan porting'. He is a vendor on this site and does great work.

How come the Hemi guys get all the neat OEM and aftermarket engine cover options???

Sounds like a great marketing idea for custom 3.6L engine covers to me.

Maybe cover the entire unit with some 3M Black Carbon Fiber vinyl, and do the outline 3.6L VVT letters in Red or Blue. Maybe add a Jeep Logo? The mind boggles with the possibilities...

underhood temps are no problem

I just sent my cover and a few other parts to Frank @ JNL Hydrographics. he will paint them Viper blue and then add carbon fiber hydrographics and clearcoat! I have had MANY, many underhood parts painted over the years,,,and it holds up awesome! Frank has hydrodipped valve covers and such and they hold up great! I dont see the engine cover being a problem either. Will be SICK I am very sure. I then plan to add the anodized blue billet tech covers!
