So I'm interested in a '14 Overland. I havent seen it in person but I think I might like the Indigo color. But i've only seen it in jeep's photos and no dealer has any in stock with the color. Any members on here have pics that they would mind posting?
If you do have the Indigo interior what floor liner color would you recommend? I know the Husky's come in black, gray, and tan. Obviously tan would be out.
Definitely try to see it in person, pics don't do it justice. Some pics make the blue look weird. Try google and check out images link, there should be a lot of pics on the web.
On mats I went a different direction with a dark brown mat by Lloyd Rubbertite. There's a thread here on jeep garage on it with pics.
So is it lighter than the morro Co black or not really too much? I feel like the tan would show WAY too much dirt and scuff marks. And the black interiors get really warm in the summer, not a real deal breaker. I just liked the idea of the indigo for something different.
This pic is from wk2jeeps.com. It's pretty close for a pic, but you really need to see it in person. It's really a great looking interior. The only thing I couldn't live with was the white piping. You either like that or you don't. I went with the black.
I ordered the Indigo Blue Brown interior in our 14 Overland without actually seeing it. I am very happy with the color. Attached is a picture I took at the dealer just after it came in. We had several jeeps with the tan interior so thought a different color might be nice. I re-used the Jeep black rubber floor mats from our 2011. They look good in the blue interior. At the time of purchase Jeep didn't have rubber floor mats in the blue color. But you really have to see one in person to know if you will like the color. Good luck. Al
The picture Jack posted is one of the most accurate, at least on my monitor. As mentioned, you need to see it in person as it may look different on your screen.
I'm not sure if this is true for all, but mine came with grey carpets.
I'm very happy with the color. But, the door panels do show every scuff mark and hand print. It's not a big deal as a damp cloth cleans things up pretty well. I just never had a color that showed things as much as this.
I really wish there was a dealer that had one in Stock near me! Both of the pictures posted look very good! I really like the silver plastic on the center console.
If/when I ever do get my grand cherokee I'll probably have to get whatever is available. I'm not ready to order, especially before the april 18th cut off date.
I'd be happy with any color really. Husky floor liners are on the 'must have' list no matter what color I get. I love them in my jeep wrangler.
I've ordered an Overland with the Indigo/Brown interior. I like those floor mats! I'm just not sure I want to notice the floor mats that much, but they look good!
Thinking about just doing the standard black or dark gray all-weather floor mats, as those would be the least noticeable and they wouldn't show any of the dirt or scuff marks.
Just one more thing I'd like to add, the wood trim on the Indigo interior is really nice. I like it better than the high gloss trim in my black interior.
I have the indigo blue on my white Overland and really like the color. It's doesn't show dirt as easily as the light brown and won't show dust as easily as the black. Also, with the indigo blue you get the silver trim around the dash, radio, and steering wheel and not the ugly copper color that comes with black, that alone makes it worth while to go indigo.
I too am thinking of which color to go with in the husky liner with the indigo interior. I have black and grey in other cars and both of them show dirt and scuff marks just as much if not more than I'd bet tan (since most of the time the dirt I see on my black and grey husky's shows up brown), although I never had tan in any vehicle.
But more importantly matching the indigo interior... I am thinking the grey might be the better of the two (black or grey), since it may lend itself to the coloring of the trim in Silver? Plus its more of a blue grey mat. What do you guys think? Otherwise I think black is the only other option.
I just re-used my black Jeep rubber floor mats from my 2011 in my 2014 Overland. To me they look very good with the blue interior. When I got my Overland, I don't think Jeep had blue rubber floor mats available. Not sure if they still do. I think you will be happy with black. Al
