I replaced the stock fogs tonight with VLED LMZ Platinums. I bought the 5k version, and they come with controllers. I know some have had issues in the past with other VLED H11s not lighting up, but these lit up immediately and were plug-and-play except for having to zip tie the controller on each side to existing wire harnesses. Total install time is under 15-30 minutes since, at least on the Summit, you have access from above and below where the fog lights are mounted without having to remove anything.
For overall brightness, I think they put out a bit more usable light than the stock bulbs. Like another member that installed a different version of VLEDs for his fogs, I was able to comfortably drive in my neighborhood with only the fog lights on--just the fogs is far better than the total headlight output of the 2002 F-150 my dad had (which had horrendous light output, couldn't see crap when I drove it at night).
The 5k color is a very nice match to the existing HIDs and DRLs, they blend right in and look like they could be factory vs. 6k bulbs that are too blue in comparison (my opinion).
These are what I installed: VLED LMZ Platinum H11 Bulbs
Work well with the projectors. I outlined the stock bulb output outline on a wall and the LEDs matched, so I do not expect anyone will flash me despite being brighter in function and appearance. The collar needs to be all the way down against the fan housing for the LEDs to line up with the filament of the stock bulbs.
Sorry, couldn't get any pictures.
