Waterproof lower doors

How waterproof or tight are the WK2 doors? If you were in water above the bottom of door would water leak in or are they made to withhold entry?

Re: Waterproof lower doors

There is a Youtube video showing the building of the 2014 GC. The Jeep guy says they have designed it to wade in 21" of water. I guess that is at the door line. Haven't been that deep myself.

Re: Waterproof lower doors

Hi there,

Been in water quite a few times and never had a single drop of water inside.
Here is a quick video of my GC in water.

Re: Waterproof lower doors

Victor your videos are awesome!

And I totally agree, we've been over the front bumper in water (not a raging river like Victor, but regular people river) and no interior flood zones.....yet.

Victor started the trip with 12 fux. At the end of the day he had 12 fux remaining. How many fux did Victor give that day?

Victor, you're awesome and I can't wait to see more videos from your adventures!

Re: Waterproof lower doors

Ya ya ya great vids and larger than average "sack" for sure, but that friggin' train HORN!!! Luv it! It would be so unbelieveably funny to have that honker at my disposal next time a putz kid walks in front of my moving Jeep while looking down and texting.....TRAIN HONK!!!!...as their iPhone goes flyin' and they try to find it only to see if the screen is cracked and finish the text! That's what I'm talkin' 'bout!

Hi Dan,
Well, we crossed the river very close to the beach (salt water) but the current (quite strong has there were heavy rains some days before) kept the salt water away, so answering your question I can say we didnt cross in salt water.
